Our Approach

Customs and freight documentation required significant manual processing — 4–6 hours per vessel clearance across multiple document types. Staff turnover in the processing team was high, partly due to the volume and repetitiveness of the work.

Our Approach

Pandan Core scoped an AI document processing solution covering the five most common document types. Built on a commercial LLM with a structured extraction layer and human-in-the-loop review interface. Deployed within the client's existing document management infrastructure.

Outcomes

Processing time for covered document types dropped from an average of 4.2 hours to under 50 minutes. Error rate on extracted fields fell below 2%. Staff were redeployed to exception handling and customer-facing roles, improving both morale and service quality.
